Managing residential blocks and working closely with leaseholders, freeholders, and service providers, your role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio, ensuring buildings are compliant, well-maintained, and financially sound.

Qualifications

Previous experience in residential block management or property management

Strong communication and organisational skills

Understanding of service charge budgets and compliance responsibilities

Ability to manage contractors and oversee maintenance works

A proactive approach to problem-solving and resident engagement

Must have a full UK driving licence

Service Charge Accountant

We are actively recruiting for a detail-orientated and proactive Service Charge Accountant. Working alongside our team, your role will be to take ownership of service charge accounts across a diverse residential portfolio. You’ll ensure accurate budgeting, timely reconciliations, and clear financial reporting for our clients and leaseholders.

Qualifications

Previous experience in service charge accounting (residential block management preferred)

Strong knowledge of leasehold accounting principles and service charge legislation

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Experience preparing budgets, year-end accounts, and liaising with external auditors

AAT, ACCA, or similar qualification (or working towards) is desirable
